Miley Cyrus / Hannah Montana – “Best of Both Worlds” Tour
In 2007-2008, Miley Cyrus, toured North America as a singer as well as in character as her better known alter ego Hannah Montana. Kenny Ortega was the choreographer, director and creator of this tour, which had the most in-demand concert tickets of 2007.
With 71 shows on three different legs, the concert began on October 18, 2007 and ended on January 31, 2008. The Best of Both Worlds Tour won the Billboard 2008 Touring Award for Breakthrough Act. The tour earned $54 million in ticket revenues in 2007/2008, making it the 15th highest-grossing concert tour in North America for that year.
Kenny Ortega is featured in the film created about the concert tour, entitled Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert in 3D, released by Disney worldwide in a limited number of theaters. Kenny acted as Producer and Stage Director for the film as well.
